World Education Services (WES)

Birmingham City University now uses the online platform World Education Services (WES) to upload your documents to help process your application. You must have your certificate and transcript before you can submit a request to the Verifications team. In the instance that you have not yet received your award documents, please contact certificates@bcu.ac.uk

If you have received your award documents and require this service, please contact our Student Support Centre - Contact details - Contact details for current students | Birmingham City University. You will need to provide the following:

• Your full name and date of birth
• High-quality A4 scans of your official certificate and transcript in PDF format (please note we cannot accept digital certificates issued by Gradintelligence)
• Proof of ID – this must be either a passport, a valid UK driving licence, or a birth certificate (passport numbers alone are not accepted)
• Your WES reference number – this is required for all WES applications; without it, we will be unable to upload your documents

Once all required information has been submitted, your award documents will be certified and attested before being uploaded to the WES portal. Our team will confirm once the upload is complete. Please note, any further updates regarding the status of your application will come directly from WES.
