How does it work?

  • Meet with a personal Account Manager to tell us about your experiences with recruitment, discuss your skills needs, and explore what roles you have coming up. Your feedback will directly inform how we support our graduates into work readiness.

  • Let us take the load by advertising and shortlisting for your roles, only sharing candidates that meet or exceed your requirements. You’ll also have the opportunity to attend free training workshops delivered by experts to support your recruitment practices.

  • Once a candidate is successfully placed, we will continue to provide in-work wraparound support until 31st March 2026 to ensure the best chance of employee retention and progression.

What is HLSM Plus?

HLSM Plus is a fully funded graduate recruitment service designed and launched to exclusively support businesses and organisations of all sizes, located within Birmingham.

HLSM Plus is led by Birmingham City University and delivered by a consortium of higher education institutions including the University of Birmingham, Aston University and University College Birmingham.

The service is supported by associate delivery partners including the Department for Work and Pensions, Job Centre Plus, National Careers Service and Birmingham City Council.
