RBC India Ensemble with Dr Radhika Balakrishnan

The RBC-India Ensemble joins hands with SAMPAD Arts—one of the UK’s most prestigious organisations dedicated to promoting South Asian arts.

Milan 2026 celebrates a vibrant collaboration between the student ensemble and musicians from the Asian community in and around Birmingham. Together, they will create a rich musical experience that reflects the city’s remarkable cultural diversity and artistic spirit.

From Hindustani and Carnatic music to Bollywood favourites, come and experience music from across India, reimagined the Birmingham way.

Support comes from Rohan Roy, a progressive violinist born in Kolkata, India specialising in Indian Fusion music. Rohan has contributed as a soloist in about fifty Indian films, at least a hundred jingles, had over a hundred guest appearances on Indian television and performed in concerts nationally as well as internationally.

Running time approx. one hour.
