Pascal Nemirovski, International Chair, RBC
Pascal Nemirovski is recognised as one of the most sought-after piano pedagogues in the world, with many of his students winning top international prizes (Tchaikovsky (Moscow), Leeds and Busoni, YCAT London, BBC New Generation Artist among many others), and now successful recording artists represented by major concert artist management companies.
He studied at the Juilliard School and in Paris. In 2004, his first CD, “Entre Ciel et Terre” devoted to Chopin, Prokofiev, and Scriabin was unanimously acclaimed in the press. At the early age of 28, his vocation for teaching was already recognised. He has taught at the Royal Academy of Music in London for ten years and was awarded Honorary Associate of the Royal Academy of Music (Hon ARAM).
In 2016, he joined the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, where he now holds the International Chair position in Piano. In 2022, he was appointed Artistic Director at the Madrid International Piano Competition. In 2023, Pascal founded IPM – International Piano Masters a comprehensive and visionary platform tailored for young pianists. It features a blend of masterclasses, competitions, salons, and a blog, creating a nurturing space to inspire and support emerging talents in piano performance.
